Guess Who's Building A Green City

It seems that everyone is going green, its about time to. The world is facing a massive threat from Global Warming.I personally think that Global warming is a much bigger threat then terrorism. We are all experiencing Global warming in our lives. From extremely hot Summers to dreadful Winters. We have never seen so many natural disasters occur in the last 50 years. It is really unbelievable. In my life time there has been large tsunamis, severe droughts, sinister floods, destructive earthquakes, even a tornado near where I live and I am still only 20. It is about time the world, starts to take Global warming seriously. I am not just jumping on the green bandwagon. Everyone that knows me, knows I have being saying it for years. I see Global warming as a opportunity to unify different countries, that normally would not get along. The earth is green and beautiful lets keep it that way.

Can you imagine a entirely Green city ?

No, I can " Masdar " remember the name.
Building an entirely Green city is what the tiny emirate state of Abu Dhabi plans to do. I personally think its a great idea. The emirate is pouring billions into renewable- and sustainable-energy technologies, stimulating precisely those industries that ultimately could challenge oil's dominance. We could only be a couple of years away from the first entirely Green city, God Willing.

The Quality Of Mercy

Mercy is a quality that every one needs, from the king to the laymen.Without it the world would be a sinister place. In the Oxford Dictionary it is defined as " 1) compassion or forgiveness shown towards an enemy or offender in one’s power. 2) something to be grateful for."It is an attribute of God himself. In the Islamic tradition God, gives himself the name Most Merciful (Al Rahman ). Muslims often start any task with the Arabic saying Bismillah. Bismillah is a beautifully poetic expression which offers both insight and inspiration. Every chapter of the Holy Quran starts with this expression. So what does Bismillah mean? . The common translation is "In the Name of God, the Merciful and Beneficent". It reminds Muslims that you need the help of God and that he is Merciful. We live in a world that is ever changing at a dynamic rate, it is getting more violent and less tolerant as time goes by. Therefore, the need for Mercy is more important then ever before.Where has all the mercy gone? I remember a time when people use to help each other and thus were being merciful.People only a couple of years ago use to smile and say "Good morning " as they went past. Have we lost mercy in our complicated world?

In order to remind us what mercy is, I think we should read the following and deeply think.

"The quality of mercy is not strain'd, It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven Upon the place beneath; it is twice bless'd; It blesseth him that gives and him that takes: 'Tis mightiest in the mightiest; it becomes The throned monarch better than his crown ... It is an attribute to God himself; And earthly power doth then show likest god's When mercy seasons justice... consider this, That in the course of justice none of us Should see salvation: we do pray for mercy, And that same prayer doth teach us all to render The deeds of mercy. Is Marriage Dull ? Think Again

Most people in the society we live perceive marriage to be a dull affair.People imagine that marriage instantly ties you down and you lose your great freedom you once had.Yet, is marriage really dull ? Or is it that most gratifying experience you will ever have, sharing your life, your dreams and hopes with some one and them sharing it back with you. Dostoevsky once said "Marriage is responsible for three-quarters of human happiness."

Thoe Hobson argues that we need to change the poor imagine of marriage, being seen in a bad thing as it could just set you free.
